I'm not here to sell you on one service *cough*cable*Cough* or the other. I just want to give you a tool that will let you see if you are getting what you pay for. To find out what download (and upload) speeds you are really getting you can use the Speed Test at BroadBandReports.com. They also allow you to find the fastest ISP in your area, compare your speed to those in your area and provide tips on squeezing the most speed out of your ISP.
I just tested at 1341kbps down and 361kbps up - What about you?
