Anyone lucky enough to be living in this great land of America owes a debt of gratitude to the men and women of our armed forces (past and present) who sacrifice daily to keep us safe.Now before you launch into the political correctness of this war or that conflict, let me just say "I Do Not Care". This is about people, not politics.
The fact of the matter is that there are thousands of underpaid, overworked soldiers who risk their lives daily so we can sleep soundly in our clean, soft beds in 72 degree climate controlled comfort (Feeling guilty yet?)
One of the soldiers who served proudly is William "Brice" King of Danville, Virginia. Having experienced the lack of basic amenities first hand, upon moving from active military to reserve status, he decided to do what he could to make life a little better for those remaining on the front lines.
Brice has just founded CharityTroops.org who's goal is simple yet vital; Providing our soldiers with care packages and or letters to make the rigors of military service a bit easier to tolerate.
