I consider myself to be a pretty handy (pun intended) guy and have a healthy respect for power tools. But every now and again even a professional carpenter can have a momentary lapse in concentration or something slips and all of a sudden he becomes known as "lefty".Well SawStop has come to the rescue. Each saw is equipped with a safety system that detects when someone (not something) accidentally contacts the spinning saw blade, and then stops the blade in milliseconds.
It's amazing. You have got to watch the video! (Luckily they use a hotdog instead of a real finger).
