Think "Thanks" this Thanksgiving

With Halloween behind us we all start counting the days until Thanksgiving and the paid day off from work. Thanksgiving as we all know, and as the name of the holiday accurately conveys, is a time for giving thanks for all of our blessings.

I can't think of anything to be more thankful for, than the fact that I am blessed to live in America - land of the free and the brave. I consider myself "free" and want to take a blog minute to say "thank you" to all the brave military men and women sacrificing daily for my freedom.

If you feel the same I found a great way to send out a very personal thank you to our service men and women. It's called the Let's Say Thanks organization.

The mission of Let's Say Thanks is to provide a way for individuals across the country to recognize U.S. troops stationed overseas. By submitting a message through their site you have the opportunity to send a free personalized postcard greeting to deployed servicemen and women. The postcards, depicting patriotic scenes and hometown images, were selected from a pool of entries from children across the country.

All you have to do is click on your favorite design and either select the message that best expresses your sentiment or draft a personal note. The Chief Show Officer recommends a personalized message - If Xerox prints and mails it, the least you can do is write a personal message. The postcards are then printed on the Xerox iGen3® Digital Production Press (Don't begrudge Xerox their plug) and mailed in care packages by military support organization Give2TheTroops®.

So. You're sitting at your computer. Here is the link. I know you've got lots to be thankful for. Tell someone thanks.

Regards,
Chief Show Officer
